Dr. Nimish Kadakia, one of our dedicated Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Trauma surgeons, devoted months of training and preparation to climb Africa's highest peak (almost 20,000 feet!!!!)
The ascent involved navigating challenging and uneven terrain with extreme altitude. SCOS staff and team members were able to track his progress using GPS until he reached the top.

Today, I accomplished a goal I set 10 years ago. To complete 30+ half marathons/10 straight beach cities challenges. I am slowing down for sure….but hope to continue running in the next decade….

Dr. Nimish Kadakia recently participated in a program with @steps2walk to change the lives of 25 families in Nagpur, India.
Steps2Walk performs surgical care of crippling foot and ankle deformities in underserved regions of the world, while simultaneously educating orthopedic surgeons in various treatment alternatives.
